Emotional intelligence is an essential skill for children to develop, especially in a diverse classroom setting. This article outlines strategies I employ to help my students recognize and express their emotions effectively. Through activities such as role-playing, guided discussions, and storytelling, we create an environment where children feel safe to share their feelings. By prioritizing emotional education, we not only enhance social skills but also prepare our students for future challenges both in and out of the classroom.
